Why this post?
To provide evidence of how large language models are censored on certain topics.
Religious topics are filtered for content. I experienced it in this post where I debated Claude on evolution and since then encountered much more of it.
I can understand filtering content for children, or perhaps topics such as making explosive devices, even my post on cancer, but not on religious topics.
1. Cancer filtering
I attempted to write a post on cancer by providing a list of information and then having Claude write me that article. I write these articles months in advance and later return to re-write. Initially, when I asked Claude to write the article, it was happy to do so, but a month later something changed:

Why would they filter religious content?
I can understand explosives or child nudity and similar, but not religious. I guess I’m asking the wrong questions…
