Why this post?
To identify the second beast.
Introduction
I wrote at length regarding the first beast by considering several characteristics from chapters of Daniel and Revelation. The latter refers to a second beast that will rise and cause all to worship the first beast. Below, I unpack those characteristics so that we can understand how to identify it and its works.
Biblical reference
Herewith follow all the verses that refer to the second beast:
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

You can refer to my previous posts, but herewith a snapshot of the applicable symbols as the Bible defines it:

beast = nation / kingdom / king, foolish, false teachers
earth = world, land, man, devilish, furnace, beastly abode (see notes on 3:10)
horn = salvation, kingly power, God's power, exaltation, location of sacrifical blood, political strength (see notes on 5:6)
Lamb = Jesus, sacrifice for sin (see notes on 5:6)
dragon = Atheistic spirit, Satan (see notes on 12:03)
speak = legislation
image = confusion, likeness, Babylon
cause = force/enforcement
false prophet = sorcerer, deceiver
Unpacking the verses - what do they mean?
The second beast rises out of the earth:
We know a beast is a kingdom, and today, a political power;
It rises out of the earth and not the sea, thus it is earthly bound and not heavenly, but more importantly, it rises where there are few nations and tongues. It is thus a new political power.
It rises after the first beast:
It comes to power after papal Rome.
And after the first beast received its mortal wound:
We know that General Louis-Alexandre Berthier ended the reign of Pope Pius VI on 20 Feb 1798, thus this second beast arises close or after this time.
While it exists, the first beast’s wound is healed:
Benito Mussolini signed the Lateran Treaty on 11 Feb 1929 between the Holy See and the Kingdom of Italy that recognized Vatican City as an independent sovereign state, thus this second beast already existed when this happened.
It exercises the same powers as the first beast:
It has to be a very strong power similar to Rome that executed tremendous political, economical and military power.
Spake like a dragon:
It will enforce legislation that aligns with the dark side, thus at some point Church and State will combine forces to enforce religious legislation.
It had two horns like a lamb:
It is a young nation hence the reference to a lamb;
Prophetically, a lamb represents Jesus and thus this entity must seem to be Christian (Protestant);
A horn represents a king, which implies political power. Given two horns it seems to represent both civil and religious liberties.
The false prophet
Several authors agree that the second beast is later referred to as the false prophet:
Rev 16:30 - “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”
Rev 19:20 - “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
Rev 20:10 - “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Similar to how the Christian trinity exists as God, Son and Holy spirit, is the dark side setting up its trinity:
God → Dragon or Satan
Jesus → Beast or Antichrist
Holy spirit → False prophet
The false prophet will be a false Protestant movement that will turn all believers to bow to the first beast… many will have been deceived.

Who is the second beast?
The only entity that can match this criteria is the United States:
It rises at a time when the first beast received its wound:
The US declaration of independence was issued in 1776 and in 1789, nine years prior 1798, the US constitution was framed.
It rises where there are no people (earth) as oppose the sea (nations);
At the time, it was a young nation;
It started out, and still seem to be, a Christian nation;
We know the political and military power it yields, similar to what Rome did; and
It has the world’s reserve currency thus exerts tremendous economical power.
Evidence
Let’s consider several evidences that support this view:
Initially it was the home to protestants that escaped the European oppression;
At the time of writing, both Trump and Biden have visited with the Pope and both support Catholicism - which seem Christian;
The U.S. Capitol building is modeled after and named similarly to the Capitoline Hill temple to Jupiter in Rome, representing a connection to Roman paganism. The Capitol faces west towards an obelisk while the Vatican faces east towards an obelisk, as if they are mirror images;
U.S. presidents since Reagan in 1981 have taken their oaths of office facing the Washington Monument obelisk on the west front of the Capitol. Prior to 1981, inaugurations took place on the east front;
The U.S. established diplomatic relations with the Vatican in 1984 under Reagan, reversing the original intent of America's Protestant founders to keep a separation from Rome. Images show Reagan and other presidents paying homage to the Pope;
The ceiling of the Capitol rotunda depicts George Washington being elevated to godhood, surrounded by 13 maidens, one holding a fasces (a symbol of centralized totalitarian power);
Fascist symbols like the fasces are found throughout U.S. government buildings and on currency, indicating a hidden move towards centralized Roman-style authoritarianism and away from Protestantism and democracy;
Many recent U.S. presidents and political leaders have been Freemasons or students from Jesuit academical institutions, tasked with dismantling Protestantism and facilitating reunion with the Catholic Church (see The Jesuits here);
Five out of nine current Supreme Court Justices are Catholic (several from Jesuit institutions), forming a majority to potentially impose Canon Law on America;
The Statue of Liberty is a representation of the Roman goddess Libertas and the Sun god Mithras, with the torch symbolizing the Luciferian "light bearer." (It was a gift from France);
The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization, is a Jesuit-controlled group engaged in politics to promote Rome's agenda;
Architectural and symbolic details in Washington D.C., such as the orientation of buildings, the presence of obelisks, and the layout of streets, are evidence of Masonic and occult influence; and
Ecumenical movements and the decline of Protestant church membership are evidence that Rome is succeeding in its efforts to regain lost influence and suppress Protestant teachings.

Billy Graham
Loads of evidence exist that Billy Graham was a 33 degree Freemason. Here are quotes from him where he supported Protestantism to reach across the waters and take the hand of Catholicism:
“The Devil has separated us, and a crusade like this is used of God to bring people of all denominations together. We need one another.” —Billy Graham, San Antonio Crusade; Christianity Today, May 19, 1997.
“He [Pope John Paul II] will go down in history as the greatest of our modern Popes. He’s been the strong conscience of the whole Christian world.” —Billy Graham quoted in Time magazine, Dec. 26, 1994/Jan. 1995.
An Asheville, N.C. newspaper advertisement:
“Here’s the truth about Sunday Closing! This IS a religious issue!... “Every one of the clergymen listed below favors the Sunday closing law...We believe the clergymen listed below are a majority of the clergymen of Asheville. This is the truth. These names are listed below by permission.“...Baptist, Billy Graham, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association...[52 other ministers’ names then listed].

Ecumenical movement
The Papacy has poured a lot of effort into creating the ecumenical movement where all churches are to work as one. This is what wikipedia says:

The New Apostolic Church has changed its doctrine to acknowledge the Pope's authority:
In 2005, the New Apostolic Church's Chief Apostle sent a letter to Pope Benedict XVI congratulating him and saying New Apostolic Christians will pray for the Pope. This was a major change in stance.
New Apostolic Church documents have changed wording about the "Holy Spirit" to just "holy spirit", demoting it from part of the Trinity. This undermines the NAC's claim to dispense the Holy Spirit.
The Anglican Church is embracing Roman Catholicism and papal authority:
St. Paul's Cathedral in London was architecturally redesigned to resemble the Vatican.
In 1999, an Anglican-Roman Catholic commission agreed that if the churches united, the Pope would have universal primacy. Anglican bishops have proposed reuniting with Rome under papal leadership.
Some Anglican leaders have repented of calling the Pope the Antichrist, as the Protestant reformers did.
The Lutheran World Federation has aligned itself with Catholic doctrine:
In 1999, Lutherans signed the Joint Declaration on Justification (JDDJ) with the Catholic Church, essentially agreeing on the core issue that sparked the Protestant Reformation.
In 2001, the head of the Lutheran World Federation said Lutherans can look to the Pope as a world spiritual leader.
Lutheran leaders have apologized for Martin Luther's strong stance against the Papacy.
The World Methodist Council is moving toward accepting Catholic teaching and authority:
In 2006, the World Methodist Council approved further dialogue with the goal of full communion with the Catholic Church.
Methodists are considering joining the 1999 Lutheran-Catholic Joint Declaration on Justification.
Other evidence of a shift toward Catholicism in Protestant churches:
An Anglican cleric in the Episcopal Church USA was shocked that a resolution affirming Jesus as the only way of salvation was rejected.
Major Protestant leaders like Billy Graham, Robert Schuller and others are Freemasons, which is an anti-Christian "Luciferian" group.

Has the Catholic Church changed?
Absolutely none of their official literature have changed. All official communication happens Ex cathedra which is a Latin phrase, meaning not "from the cathedral," but "from the chair." and none of those have changed.
Geneva Bible 1560
I often cite comments from the Geneva Bible as evidence but in this case, alas, the USA did not exist, so the authors would not have any knowledge:
Christopher Columbus never went to shore but his first voyage was in 1492;
In 1513, Juan Ponce de León, a Spanish explorer, made the first recorded landing;
The first successful English settlement was in Jamestown, Virginia, in 1607; and
The Pilgrims established the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts in 1620.

whydoneit?
The Papacy cannot reign supreme without the assistance and support of the most powerful nation in the world. It created organisations such as the Jesuits to curtail and infiltrate the Protestant movement and turn it back to its mother.
From Ecumenism and the JDDJ, the Papacy clearly has spiritual authority, it now only needs political, economical and military authority through the assistance of its western ally.
